Overview
SYSCO provides a full spectrum of foodservice supplies and equipment to over 390,000 customers throughout the United States and Canada. Customers can receive everything they need for their operations, from sparkling front-of-the-house service ware to heavy-duty, back-of-the-house janitorial supplies and everything in between.

Requirement
Over the course of a year SYSCO foods required several solutions to enhance their Invoice and Manifest report printing capabilities. Reports, which can be Invoices, Manifests, Order Guides and Hazardous Material shipping forms, are generated continuously on an AS400 system. The reports pass through a print spooler and are routed to several printers depending on the Operating Company's print facilities. There were three main requirements that needed to be addressed. The first requirement was a need to improve speeds at which Invoices and Order Guides are delivered to end users. The second requirement involved the ability to track Invoices and Manifest. The third requirement was a need to solve the print order of reports. Due to the print order, paper work required for truckers needs to be manually sorted to insure a trucker received all the necessary documents.
