Overview
The Newbury Corporation (Norfolk & Dedham Group®) consisting of three mutual insurance companies, provides property and casualty insurance through hundreds of local independent insurance agents in MA, RI, ME, NH, NY and NJ.

Requirement
Norfolk and Dedham of Massachusetts had an IT initiative to manage all company documents within a Web based content management system. Included with the requirements was the ability to provide all clients and agents with electronic versions of policies and reports

Solution
Primarily printed and mailed, the creation of policy and reports is solely the responsibility of the operations group and therefore built on a premise the document was to be printed. Using this infrastructure, ASE introduced a solution for taking the formatted print data and transforming it to a Web viewable format that could be easily integrated with IT’s content manager design. The solution includes ASE’s DataPrep IServer solution with Pro Transform conversions. The new solution allows for a fast and effective way to take policy print data, transform it into individual PDF files and make them available to a Web Sphere application running Oracle. Without changing their current printing workflow, Norfolk and Dedham is able to offer clients and agents the ability to view policies and reports online with 100% fidelity.
