Overview
AIPSO Insurance provides high-risk insurance plans across the United States.

Requirement
AIPSO had a two part initiative to improve customer correspondence. The first part included upgrading their current production print facility with newer Xerox printers and a newer print management solution. The second part included Web based interaction with clients.

Solution
Working with Xerox and ASE, a solution was developed that would allow AIPSO to upgrade their printers and print management while providing a solution for delivering legacy reports, declarations and bills to an Oracle based content management solution. Using ASE's DocuConvert and PDFSplitter Module, legacy print data is captured and delivered to any three DP180 devices as well as transformed to PDF . Then using pre-defined rules, the PDF files are split and delivered to unique directories for Web presentment. Along with the PDF splitting, an index file is created that is loaded into Oracle. Overall AIPSO has implemented a “lights out” solution for taking the same data that is printed and making it available on the Web.
